Leadership and Club Governance

Northport Snow Riders is guided by a board of dedicated volunteers who help oversee club operations, trail management, community partnerships, and long-term planning.
Our leadership works with landowners, county officials, and local organizations to support safe, responsible snowmobiling throughout New London and the surrounding counties.

Roles and Responsibilities:

The President leads meetings, serves as the primary point of contact for the snowmobile club, and oversees communication with club leadership and the general membership to accomplish club duties.

BIO: I joined the Northport Snowriders in 1993 and have been an active member on and off ever since. I served as Trail Boss beginning in 2003, a role I held on and off through 2025, and was directly involved in trail grooming, marking, maintenance, and coordination across the trail system.

Over the years, I’ve helped with many club fundraising and community events, including grass drags, the Valentine’s Dance, parking operations at the Waupaca County Fair, site setup and monitoring at the Iola Car Show, Snodeo, the New Dublin Parade, Blizzard Bash, the Golf Outing, and Cards for Cash.

I also organized the Waupaca County Fair bartending fundraiser, coordinating a team of 20 volunteers to support the club. In addition, I’m a certified snowmobile safety instructor and have organized and taught five snowmobile safety classes.

Outside of the club, I love snowmobiling with my wife, children, and grandchildren, as well as traveling, boating, and spending time with family.

Oversees all sponsorship outreach, marketing materials, and social media communication for the club. Ensures accurate, updated information across digital platforms, maintains relationships with community partners, and supports the club’s visibility and engagement within the region.

BIO: As the club’s Sponsorship, Marketing & Social Media Coordinator, I manage our sponsorship outreach, design our marketing materials, oversee our website, and lead the committee that connects the Northport Snow Riders with community partners. I rejoined the club in 2024, but my history goes back to 2015, and my roots in the New London area go even deeper—I’ve lived here since 1983 and have been snowmobiling for more than 35 years.

My professional background includes 15 years in the building trades before launching my own business, Got Dents Get Fixed, where I’ve spent the last two decades developing strong skills in design, branding, and customer communication. My passion for graphic design and marketing started early, working in my family’s business, Sam’s Auto Body & Sales, and it continues to drive the work I do for our club today.

I’m committed to helping the Northport Snow Riders grow, stay connected with our community, and represent our trail system with pride, clarity, and professionalism.

Club Trail Boss oversees trail maintenance and works with the trail coordinator on landowner and other issues.

The Club Trail coordinator works with the Club Trail boss and is knowledgeable of the trail system, including trail numbers, individual trail coordinators/bosses, and landowners.

The Landowner Bruch coordinator is responsible for the annual landowner brunch, including sending invitations, making reservations, ordering chamber bucks, and any other duties as needed.

The Media Administrator composes and distributes monthly newsletters, club announcements, and event communications.

All positions described above involve working with other club leaders or members to complete a range of tasks that may arise in any given year.
